Cranberry Moscow Mules - A New Twist on an Old Favorite
Copper mugs are everywhere. It seems over the summer, the classic cocktail, a Moscow Mule, made a huge comeback. Perhaps it's the popularity of all things vintage, and our quest for simpler times, but there is definitely a classic cocktail revival happening on bar menus and in liquor stores across the country. Spiced Apple Cider - An Easy and Delicious Fall Cocktail
It's apple cider season. One of my favorite things about the fall, is apples and apple cider. I can still remember as a little girl, stopping at Sunny Slope Orchards with my grandfather to pick up apples and apple cider. While he was making his purchases, I would help myself to a paper cone cup of fresh apple cider, straight from a dispenser right in the warehouse.
A few years ago, I discovered a way to make my apple cider a little more "grown-up" with the addition of spiced rum - YUM. This is a great warm, fall drink. I make them every Halloween, while the kids are out trick or treating.

World Cup Cocktail - The Yellow Card {recipe}
Are you watching any of the World Cup games? It's really getting exciting and many people are celebrating the soccer games at bars and restaurants and even in their own homes, with soccer parties. Sounds fun - right?
In honor of the upcoming games, I'm sharing a yummy cocktail from Voli Vodka. I got to meet some of the Voli folks at a recent Getting Gorgeous event, and they shared some fabulous cocktail ideas with me. The Yellow Card Cocktail is a great idea for kicking back and watching the USA take on Portugal this Sunday night.
The Yellow Card Cocktail - Recipe
1 ½ oz Voli Original vodka
1 oz mango juice
¾ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
½ oz honey
Shake and strain into rocks glass
Garnish with lemon and lime peels
Now sit back and enjoy the game with a refreshing cocktail!
Voli Vodkas are produced in Cognac, France using a superior french wheat and natural spring water. They are 5-times distilled and 4 times filtered and infused with high-quality natural flavors. Did I mention that they are also delicious?

Mixed Drink Recipe: Pink Lemonade Cocktail
Warmer weather calls for fun, refreshing drinks - especially come cocktail hour. The other night, it was beautiful out. The kids were playing (nicely) in the yard and I was making dinner on the grill. This scene needed a cocktail! But I wasn't in the mood for a glass of wine or a vodka tonic . . .I wanted a new fun mixed drink - so I rummaged around and came up with an easy mixed drink recipe.
I had bought the kids Pink Lemonade from Trader Joe's earlier in the week. They drink a lot of water and milk, so I like to give them some fun options too. The pretty pink color and cold temperature started calling me. I grabbed the vodka and mixed up a drink.
