May is National Stroke Awareness Month

Do you know the warning signs?

According to the American Stroke Association:

	Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination Sudden, severe headache with no known cause

As you may know, our family was directly affected by stroke last year.  it changed us forever.  we are very lucky that it was a TIA and the effects were temporary.  many others are not so lucky.

I hope you will take a few minutes to  educate yourself on signs and what to do - as well as preventive measures we can all take.
