. . .for the second year in a row, we headed down to the outer banks for a family vacation. we rented a beach-front house in Corolla with some friends (8 adults, 4 kids). it was amazing.
we could see dolphins from the kitchen window. we took a wild-horse tour, and saw over 40 wild spanish mustangs roaming on the beach and the dunes. a family of seven horses was even camped out on the patio of a house. the weather was gorgeous, and we hit the beach at least once every day we were there.
there were go-karts, bumper cars, mini-golf, sand dunes, and a host of other attractions and sights to see. it makes the 8 hour car trip all worth it in the end. well that, and a portable dvd player!
now i'm trying to get back into the swing of things. . .i am behind on all my scrapbooking projects, and i have a long list of house things that need to get accomplished.
