is he really only 5??

. . .okay, so I had a week of panic, where the pants I bought him THREE weeks ago, are now almost too short. so i ran to a million stores where each pair of pants looked bigger than the next. . .he may be tall, but he is a skinny guy - thank God for adjustable waist pants!

anyway, i finally found some stuff at the Gap - of course, the most expensive of my options, but always reliable. So i picked up some pants and long-sleeved t's for fall.

yesterday was his best friend, Sophia's 5th birthday party (they share the same birthdate), and he wore this new outfit.

i have to admit, i got a little teary eyed when i saw him. . .he looks 8, not 5.

my baby is really gone - in his place is this really neat kid with this creative imagination and endless energy. i'm not sure yet what to do with this child. . .but i'm sure he will lead me down the path and we will both learn something in the process. . .
