Beauty, Brunch and Bloggers. . .oh my!

On Sunday, I had the opportunity to travel into the historic district of Philadelphia for a Real Moms Blogger Beauty Brunch.

The ever fabulous, Joey Fortman from Real Moms Media, put together a beautiful blogger event at the elegant Omni Hotel.

We were treated to a delicious and decadent breakfast buffet at the Azalea Restaurant. The brunch is open to the public and served every Sunday from 10a to 2p.  Benni the Sous chef recommended the waffles and they were delicious. . .

but they couldn't compare to his amazing crepes.

The buffet has something for everyone; salads, pasta, a carving station, made to order omelets and much more. Each diner can order one complimentary bloody mary or mimosa to accompany their brunch. Brunch is offered weekly for $46.95 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are suggested (215.925.0000).

After brunch, we headed upstairs to a beautiful suite, overlooking historic Philadelphia.

Attendees were treated to hair styling and make-up by Marc Voci Salon & Color Bar. Marc and his stylists (including his fabulous mother!) and make-up artists did a wonderful job of sprucing us all up with an array of up-dos, curls and temporary color.  The make-up was glamorous and made everyon'e eyes sparkle just a bit more.

Janet Gallagher was there from Jockey Person to Person.  If you are not familiar with this program, it offers women a way to shop for comfortable, affordable work-ready clothes, from the comfort of their own homes.  I fell in love withe the Convertible Cardi, which would be perfect to take to Type-A.

There were Doctors from the Bouari Clinic in King of Prussia sharing their weight loss and wellness programs while Donna Scott from Donna Scott Secret Med Spa, shared her methods for making us all look younger.

It was such a relaxing and enjoyable event, tied in with the opportunity to meet some wonderful businesses to share with you.  Hanging out with my fellow Philly-Area bloggers was just the whipped cream on my crepe.

catch you soon -

note:  I received brunch and a gift bag for attending the event.  I did not receive any compensation for this post, nor was I asked to write a post in return for my attendance.  As always, all opinions expressed are my very own.

  1. Hey, did you know that Benni is from Albania? Joey & I were chatting with him. He runs for 2 hours after work every day. Amazing!

It was such a wonderful event! So relaxing and I got to chat with bloggers that I only knew online.
