The Peace Table. . .

. . .when i picked Ryan up @ preschool today, there was a message on the teacher's conversation-starter board that parents should ask their children to explain the Peace Table. needless to say that is exactly what i did.

ryan told me that two kids in his class were in a disagreement over something, and had to sit at the Peace Table. they had to be quiet. i asked him what he thought they were suppossed to do at the table.

"i think they're suppossed to get along better," is what he told me. so, this may or may not be Carmen's (GREAT teacher!) intention. . .but it's a great idea, and i'm thinking it would come in handy in a lot of places. . .

i also asked Ryan if he had to sit at the Peace Table today. . .he told me "no". . .but then tomorrow is another day. . .

catch you soon -
