Weekly Family Meal Plan 2017 Week 36

Weekly Meal Plan Ideas sharing real food for real families. Save time and money by planning easy menus for your family.

Hello meal planners - welcome back! Well, here we are . . .the last day of summer vacation. The schedules are printed, the supplies are bought and the backpacks are ready.  There is a mix of sadness for summer to be over as well as excitement for what this school year will bring.

It's a big year for us, our oldest is a junior in high school this year and our youngest is wrapping up elementary school. Fall is my favorite time of the year, and I've already started putting out fall decorations and planning cool weather meals.

Speaking of coll weather meals, it looks as if Hurricane Irma may brush by us this week, bringing a day or more of rain. I'm planning to try out a new Potato Soup recipe, using my Instant Pot.  I am vowing to find at least one new Slow Cooker or Instant Pot recipe a week to make life a little easier. If you have any favorites, share a link to them in the comments please!

Alright, let's kick off this new school year in style with a yummy and relatively healthy meal plan. Here's what we have planned for this week:

Monday - Labor Day - Last Day of Summer Vacation Hurrah - Dinner Out
Tuesday - Muffin Tin Meatloaves and Broccoli
Wednesday - Instant Pot Potato Soup with Rolls and Salad
Thursday - Chicken Fingers and Fruit - it's Back to School Night
Friday - Homemade Pizza Night
Saturday - YOYO (You're On Your Own)
Sunday -Family Dinner Out
