Meal Planning - 2016 Week 15

Welcome to my weekly meal planning post. Each week I share my intentions for feeding my family for the week ahead. I take time each Sunday, to get organized and plan out a menu of mostly "real food" items, in an attempt for all of us to eat healthier. In the end, when we follow the plan, we do eat healthier and we save money too. I hope you take away some ideas and inspiration for your own weekly meal plan.

Weekly Meal Plan - Real Food for Real Families

This is such a strange week, I'm not sure all of us will be home for dinner any night this week. It looks like we may all be home (at some point) on Tuesday, even though we have two separate lacrosse practices. There's just something about spring that makes sitting down to full family meals a real challenge. To combat that, I'm trying to prepare things ahead of time, so that there is healthy food to pick and choose from, when people are ready to eat.

Here's what we have planned for this week:

Monday -"Fried" Chicken, Cole Slaw and Corn Muffins
Tuesday - Grilled Pork Tenderloin, Potatoes and a Vegetable
Wednesday - Dad has a meeting so it's Breakfast for Dinner
Thursday -Chicken Nuggets for Kids, Caesar Salads for Adults
Friday - Pizza and a movie
Saturday - Date Night with Owen (every one else is out)
Sunday -  Soup and Sandwiches

What's on your menu this week? I'd love for you share your ideas here in the comments, or over on the Meal Planning thread on Facebook.
