Summer Stripes - What I Wore

While I love the relaxed and casual atmosphere that summer brings, I am not a fan of heat and humidity. We are just coming off a week of temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s and I am SO over it. It's hard for even the most stylish girl to keep her cool in that kind of weather.

I met some friends (and fellow bloggers) the other night for dinner, and we couldn't get over how many of us at the table had on stripes! Skirts, dresses, tops, even a cute wristlet! Stripes were everywhere! I have long been a fan of stripes, all year long, but there's something about them in the summer that just looks SO on-trend.

Here's how I wore my stripes: a super comfy skirt I picked up at Ann Taylor a couple weeks ago and my new favorite Kate Spade Bag.

It was a super comfortable outfit, with just the right amount of "dress-up" for a girls' night out. I added the wrap because sometimes the air conditioning gets chilly.  This one form Aventura is super light and fold up into my bag.
