Dear Kate . . .panties you can live in

Now panties is not a topic we discuss here very often . . .although we have covered mammograms, and bra fittings in the past.  But come on, panties are something we girls wear everyday (well, almost every day).

Not only do we want them to look nice, but it would be nice if they stayed in place and didn't cause us any unnecessary embarrassment - right?  Our bodies and our needs change with the times . . .our selection of panties in our drawer should change too.

While I was at a Getting Gorgeous event in NYC over the summer, I couldn't help but notice this lovely lady with the best job in the house.  It was a warm day, and truth be told, I wouldn't have minded standing on a box with a fan blowing up my skirt.  But seriously, it was a clever way to show off the new line of panties - Dear Kate.

Dear Kate Panties
"Drawing on her chemical engineering background, co-founder Julie Sygiel developed a patent-pending fabric technology that is absorbent, leak resistant, and stain proof.  After two years of product development and hundreds of test panties, the revolutionary new underwear were revealed."
Seriously - a Chemical Engineer designing panties?  That's brilliant and I was intrigued.  When the lovely ladies at Dear Kate offered me the chance to try out a pair. . .I jumped on the chance.

As a woman of a "certain age", I expect a lot from my panties - but I want to feel pretty in them and look nice too.  But seriously, I hate to spend money on panties, just to have throw them out after some "disaster". And god forbid you have to leave a room with a sweater or scarf tied around your waist.  This isn't High School ladies - we are past this!

So I got my Dear Kates. . .

Dear Kate Panties

And I wore them everywhere - I went for a walk, I wore them to an event, I wore them while I ran errands, I wore them while I played Monopoly . . .and they were great!  They stayed in place, they stayed dry and I felt pretty in them too.

Sounds like a total win - right?

Let me know if you try them out and what you think!

catch you soon -

note - I received a pair of Dear Kate panties in order to facilitate this review.  I did not receive any compensation for this post, and always, all opinions are my very own.

  2. I finally started buying "good" panties - not the ones in a package. I'm off to take a look at these right now.

  3. Let me start by saying I love the way barely there cotton panties fit. They are comfortable and the style is cute. However both pairs that I bought are showing signs of wear after just one washing.
