a sporty project. . .

. . .i may have mentioned that i was going (or went) to the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Valley Forge...i have been going to this scrapbooker's paradise since it first came to Valley Forge.  since we never had many choices in brick and mortar scrapbooking stores, this was pure heaven.

well in moves the onslaught of monthly kit clubs and online shopping - and the convention has lost it's luster.  the last few classes I took (3 years ago now) didn't "WOW" me. . .in fact one was a repeat.

but that didn't stop me from going to the vendor fair to see what they had.  the booths were full of wonderful projects, eye candy and inspiration. . .but i came home with only 4 little tins of ink and a circle chipboard book.

the chipboard book instantly inspired a project idea in my mind the minute i saw it - it was small and would perfectly hold the 4 years of baseball pictures from Ryan's adventures in Little League.  i even had baseball pattern paper.

with an idea firm in my head - i came right home and set to work THAT NIGHT!  here is what was completed sometime the next day:

There are two more shots - one on orange cardstock (he played for the Oriels) and another one on green, we played for the A's again.  It's small - with nothing more than the year written in it.  But he likes looking at it and remembering when he was on each team.

what could you make with a circle chipboard book?

catch you soon -

  1. I absolutely luuuurrrrve the Creating Keepsakes convention. I've missed it for the past two years because of vacations falling around that same time, but hopefully I'll get back to it next year! And that chipboard book is adorable!
