Ho To : Make a Mini Album with Paint Chips

In 2006 i took a wonderful year-long class with Donna Downeyat Big Picture Scrapbooking. The beauty of this class, was that there was a new project each week - and you could do as many or few as you wanted.

One of the projects that I had lying around waiting to complete, was a little chipboard album, using paint chips. I needed some photos and a theme for this little book.

Looking through photos, it seems we took 1500+ pictures in the 2 weeks we spent in OBX in 2005 and 2006. . .I went through them and picked out 103 to print. . .from those, I selected these to make this:

This project is pretty simple:
  • Measure and trim the chipboard.
  • Adhere pattern paper and paint chips to the chipboard.
  • Punch Holes in the top.
  • Add pictures, quotes, and embellishments as desired.
  • Connect your pages with jump rings or ribbon.
I have to say, this is one of my all time favorite projects - I love the quote stickers and how the distressing the photos came out.  I love the peaceful sea-inspired colors too.  I hope you enjoy it as well.

catch you soon -
