that's where we celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday. everyone got dressed and we packed up the car, made a quick trip to Starbucks for pumpkin spice lattes and off we went.

owen slept and ryan watched his new cars dvd on the way down. it was a peaceful ride for all.

as always, Mimi outdid herself with dinner. it was right our of a magazine, with the house decorated for fall, the table set for all eleven of us, and family and good food all around. i always think Thanksgiving is actually my favorite holiday - it is all so pretty and so yummy - and there is no hassle of gifts and mess. just good times with good family.
