round? green? tall? stem? so many choices. . .
after walking around, Ryan was really drawn to the pumpkins with a good bit of green on them. i relented, and said that was fine. after all, it's about him right? (thanks for reminding me honey!) i have to admit, i'm one of those moms that sometimes forgets it isn't really about me, or my preconceived ideas about how an event should go. luckily, for the most part, my husband can sense when i'm doing this, and tries to reign me in.
all and all, we had a good time and selectd two great pumpkins to carve, a few jack be littles to use as candle holders, and three butternut squash to paint like ghosts. wow - i have a lot to do this week to get ready for halloween. . .
