Meal Planning - 2016 Week 17

Welcome to my weekly meal planning post. Each week I share my intentions for feeding my family for the week ahead. I take time each Sunday, to get organized and plan out a menu of mostly "real food" items, in an attempt for all of us to eat healthier. In the end, when we follow the plan, we do eat healthier and we save money too. I hope you take away some ideas and inspiration for your own weekly meal plan.

Weekly Meal Plan, Real Food for Real Families

You can almost feel it . . .the home stretch of the school year. All of a sudden, the days are longer and a bit warmer, the grass is greener and the leaves are bursting out on the trees.  This is the time of the year where I start to think about the less hectic days of summer that are coming. Right about now, I start planning to cook on the grill at least one or two nights a week. It makes clean up so much easier.
Here's what we have planned for this week:

Monday - Grilled Pork Tenderloin and Potatoes with Green Beans
Tuesday - Chicken Quesadillas, Guacamole and Corn
Wednesday - Burgers and Dogs on the Grill, Baked Beans (Soup & Sandwiches if it rains)
Thursday - Quick Dinner/Leftover Buffet
Friday - Homemade Pizza Night
Saturday - BBQ Wings, Pasta Salad
Sunday -  Family Meal Out

What do you have planned this week? Leave a comment here, or join the discussion over on Facebook and share your thoughts for getting dinner on the table.
