Weekly Family Meal Plan 2017 - Week 9
Welcome back meal planners - Happy Monday. Joining us for the first time? Welcome I am so glad you're here! Monday means Meal Plan around here. A quick and dirty plan for feeding my family of four, shared with the world each Monday morning. It's nothing fancy, and can be easily duplicated in your own home.
Around here, spring sports are beginning to kick into gear. That means busier nights and weekends as we run to practices, games and tournaments. I've started keeping a list of things I can have on-hand that the kids can make themselves to eat. Easy and healthy burgers for Ryan, hard-boiled eggs, fruit and healthy chicken nuggets for Owen. Gone are the nights of larger meals and casseroles until fall.
Do you change your eating habits in the different seasons? How does spring affect what you eat and how you prepare it? I'm already after my husband to clean up the grill and re-stock our propane. Grilling is my favorite low-mess cooking method when the weather warms up a bit.
Here's what we have planned for this week:
Monday - Pot Roast with Carrots and Potatoes (Instant Pot)
Tuesday - Chicken Quesadillas
Wednesday - Chicken Nuggets and Mac and Cheese
Thursday - Tortellini with Sausage
Friday - Homemade Pizza Night
Saturday - YOYO (You're On Your Own)
Sunday -Family Dinner Out
