Menu Plan Monday - 2013 Week 36
Here we are Labor Day . . . the end of summer and the start of another school year.
While my meal planning kept me on track and reduced waste all summer long, it is never more needed than during the school year. Those precious few hours between kids getting home and going to bed are FILLED with things to do, and pass by me in a whirlwind of homework, downtime, dinner and family time.
I am starting off the school year with a blank September calendar. I am writing in our Friday Night Pizza Nights, Taco Tuesdays and anything else that I already know about, in hopes of streamlining my system for the busy fall season.
I've been Pinning some delicious crockpot meals and fall inspired recipes as well.
Here's my plan for this week:
Monday - Spring Rolls, Dumplings and Beef and Broccoli
Tuesday - Ravioli, Garlic Bread and Salad
Wednesday - Chicken in a pot, mashed potatoes and peas
Thursday - Baked Cod
Friday - Pizza Night
Saturday and Sunday - leftovers and clean out the fridge buffet.
How are you updating your meal planning routine for fall?
