Do the next best thing and hit the Philadelphia Flower Show March 4th through the 11th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Last week I attended a luncheon and preview event for local bloggers, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. I have it on good authority there will be a 25 foot waterfall at the show.
But even more exciting than that, there will be an abundance of new and exciting things to share this year. . .
For instance - did you know the Flower Show has it's own App? That's right - download it from your favorite App market and don't miss a thing (floor plans, specials, events and more). There will be real-time floral competitions, a Designer's Studio, a Man Cave, a Family Lounge and MORE.
If you have never been to the Flower Show, this is the time to give it a whirl. And check out the VisitPhilly site for additional specials, savings and events all centered around the Flower Show. There are hotel specials, restaurant specials, shopping discounts and more.
I have been the last few years, and it was breathtaking. This year is proving to be even MORE exciting and MORE fun for the entire family. It is always events like these that make me so proud of our city and so happy to live so close by that we can take advantage of all it has to offer.
