Meal Planning 2016 - Week 25

Weekly meal plan ideas and inspiration - real food for real families.

School's Out For Summer! It's finally here, Summer Vacation. I take a break from many things during the summer, but planning nightly meals for my family isn't one of them. Weekly meal planning and staying organized in the kitchen, just makes the rest of my life easier. Having a plan to use for weekly grocery shopping and meal prep saves me time AND money.

This summer is bringing something new for our family. For nine weeks, I'm going to be working in the office at my kids' summer camp. We love our summer camp so much, that when they called and asked if I was interested in joining the team, I had to say yes. This is the first time in nearly 5 years that I will be working regularly outside of the home. I'm not kidding myself that it will be easy but we are up for the adventure!

So you may see some changes around here on the blog and you may notice some new ideas and inspiration as well. But one thing that will remain constant, is posting my weekly meal plans!  So here's what we have planned for this week:

Monday - Pan Seared Pork Cutlets, Roasted Potatoes, Salad
Tuesday - Salmon, Green Veggie, Rice
Wednesday - BBQ Chicken, Farmer's Market Pasta Salad
Thursday - Trying the Big Salad Meal from Fresh Market
Friday - Homemade Pizza Night
Saturday - Burgers and Dogs on the grill, Baked Beans and Potato Medley Potato Salad
Sunday - Family Dinner Out

  1. Can I join you for dinner tonight? My family loves fish, but they don't like salmon. I've been wanting to make a pan. Maybe I'll make myself a separate dinner.

  2. Where do you go for family dinner night out on Sundays? Do you go early? I love a nice early Sunday dinner and a pit stop for ice cream after, on a Sunday night.
