Menu Plan Monday - 2014 Week 12
I try to keep things casual and simple around here - both on the blog and in my home. So when I organize my weekly meal plans, I tend to keep the ideas and ingredients simple and casual as well. This week, I am pulling three "meats" from my freezer and building my meals around them. I don't always have a specific recipe in mind - like for Tuesday, of this week, but I Google my ingredient and hope to find something or spark an idea.
This week I'm following a definite recipe one night, winging it one night and sort of following a recipe one night. That's the beauty of taking time to plan . . .I have ingredients on-hand - but sometimes life gets in the way, and that's ok.
Here's what's on our plan for this week:
Monday - Mini Meatloaves (my guys love the BBQ ones), Caesar Salads, Baked Potatoes
Tuesday - Shrimp Scampi (I typically heat some EVOO, throw in garlic, saute the shrimp and toss it with pasta)
Wednesday - Turkey Tenderloins (I've had these in the freezer for a while - not sure what I'll do with them) Stuffing and Green Beans
Thursday - White Fish (baked with an aioli sauce I think), Quinoa & Salad
Friday - Homemade Pizza Night
Saturday and Sunday - TBD
