There are only a few more weeks left in 2013. . .it's hard to believe we've been on this meal planning journey for 47 weeks. Menu planning is not always easy, and truth be told. it's rarely fun for me, but it DOES help save me time and money.
In my meal planning journey, I've found three "rules" that have helped me succeed:
- Be Flexible - it's a plan, not marching orders
- Be Prepared - know what you have on-hand and keep shopping lists
- Be Creative - a successful meal doesn't have to look like you may think (breakfast for dinner!)
Monday - Ravioli with Sausage & Sage in Olive Oil. (moved from last week)
Tuesday - Pork Tenderloin, Brussel Sprouts & Fingerling Potatoes
Wednesday - Chili and Cornbread (moved from last week)
Thursday - Leftovers
Friday - Pizza Night
Saturday and Sunday - TBD
