For our Summer Snacking this season, as part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias®, we are enjoying the new Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Puffs at Target.
Once school lets out for summer vacation, I am pretty sure the question moms hear most often is, "Mom, can I have a snack?" I am tempted to track it at my own house one day.
There are some days, with two growing boys, that I feel as if they are eating from the moment they get up in the morning until they crash to sleep at night. I have no idea where they put it all, but it takes our after-school snacking to a whole new level during summer vacation.
We are weekly Target shoppers, so I am thrilled with their variety of snacks. Sweet, salty, kid-favorite, healthy, Target has it all. Pepperidge Farm Goldfish have long been a favorite in our household. I am partial to the pretzels myself, however the boys both like the cheddar flavor. The new Goldfish Puffs at Target, come in three flavors: Mega Cheese, Buffalo Wing and Cheddar Bacon.
I wasn't sure what to expect - the bag is larger than a regular Goldfish Snacks bag. The printing on it is bolder and it has a handy re-seal feature. It's as if Goldfish have "grown-up". . . and it was very appealing to my always-hungry tween. He quickly picked out the Mega Cheese and the Cheddar and Bacon varieties to try.
Needless to say, we barely made it in the door with our purchases before the bags were ripped open and the new snacks were tested. Delicious! Looks like we have a winner.
I chased them both upstairs for swimsuits, and then into the backyard, where I brought them out a lovely snack tray (purchased on the Target Summer Aisle a few years ago) complete with Goldfish Puffs and Lemonade (served in those impulse buy glasses I bought).
Summer is perfect for good times and good snacks! These puffs will be perfect mixed with small pretzels and Chex cereal for a yummy snack mix too! And with the larger size, I can't wait to try them as fun decorations on cakes, cupcakes, and other goodies.
