How-To: Get Organized with AboutOne

Organization is my crack.

Bins, baskets, drawers . . . file folders, tabs, labels. . .calendars, notebooks, tablets. . .

ALL of it - I love it.  Back in the day, I had a Franklin Planner.  I wrote EVERYTHING in it - color coded of course.  From there I moved onto a Palm Pilot. . .then finally online calendars, smartphones and tablets.

But I'm still not feeling "organized".  I have some great systems set up and some not so great systems set up.  So I'm still looking. . .and here's what I discovered, an online organizer:

I must confess that I fell in love with the adorable squirrel and the idea of having everything I may need at my fingertips - like a virtual file cabinet. THIS was how to get organized!

So I set it up.  In like 5 minutes, I had my house and my family all set up.  It was so EASY.  And after I put my husband and kid's birthdays in. . .AboutOne assured me they will send me reminders! Like a virtual Assistant - how cool is that?

Here's a little video about it. . .check it out:

The options are endless - and the best part is the SECURITY! AboutOne uses the same technologies and practices that financial institutions and banks use to protect their customer information.  As a former auditor, I always worry about security.  And truth be told. . .it was the one item I worried about when I first heard about AboutOne.  So I did my research. . .go ahead. . .go click on the security tab at AboutOne. . .I think you'll agree that the security is top-notch.

So I made a promise to myself to get in there and USE their online organizer to get myself organized.  And so far, so good. I'm on my way to organizing my home and my family.

What is the one thing about your home and family you find the hardest to organize?

note - I was compensated by AboutOne to review their online organizer. All opinions and text as always, are my very own.
