Before I was a mom, (aka when I had more time and money of my own) I enjoyed pampering myself. I still love a good Spa ritual and was tickled pink when I was invited to a Therapon Face 3 Face event at The Desmond Hotel in Malvern, courtesy of Theraderm and Jo-Lynne Shane from Musings of a Housewife.
Theraderm provided a mini facials suing their Skin Renewal System, as well as explaining to us a bit about the company. The founder and CEO of Theraderm Skin Health, Dr. James Beckman, began the company in response to skin concerns voiced by his patients. Dr. Beckman developed products to restore skin to its optimal health and enhance the effects of plastic surgery.
I have been a regular user of skin care products since I was a teenager. I can recall my mom taking me first to Eckard Drugs to pick out the whole line of St. Ives products. . .then when I got older, we moved onto Estee Lauder. I can't wait to try out the Therapon Skin Renewal System, now that I (and my skin) have reached a "certain age".
Besides the facials, we were treated to make-overs by Ulta and Manicures by Spring Nails in Paoli. I love, love, love getting my make up done by someone else and I changed it up and had a nice cocoa color put on my nails.
It was a wonderful morning spent with good friends and a great time for me to spend a little time on something that was only for me.
