where i've been. . .

. .. no. . .i was not snowed in. . .although it did prompt a quick order to landsend.com for new snow boots and extra gloves and hats.

we have been busy here with pre-thanksgiving festivities. . .and life in general. . .

last friday, the kids each had their feast at school. with the help of the awesome angela, we pulled off a nice traditional meal for owen's childcare class - turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn casserole, rolls, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. thanks to all the parents that donated money and time.
ryan had his feast at school on friday as well, however his was preceeded by the play, " A 2nd Grade Thanksgiving". . .he was the pilgrim dad. . .all of the kids did a fantastic job with their lines and their teacher should be extremely proud of herself. the stuff we now know about the pilgrims. . .
since blue clue's has been a mainstay at our house lately, i was inspired by steve's thankful book, and i made two of my own for the boys to write in on Thanksgiving at my parents' house. i will also be bringing the gratitude box i made last year.

catch you soon -
