failing. . .

. . .so i think i am failing meal planning and preparation. . .

i used to have a real handle on it - planning out a week's worth of menus, making the grocery list, doing the shopping. . .

now, i can't seem to make it work. . .it never seems to be a good time to go to the grocery store. . .i get "stuck" when i try to find recipes for the upcoming week. . .

i could blame it on the baby. . .it is hard to know whether i will have three minutes or 30 minutes in which to prepare dinner on any given night.

and when i buy fresh yummy things, they seem to rot in the frige before we can eat them.

so here i sit on the couch - still not feeling like doing something about it. . .how do you plan your meals? how do you cook with small children under foot and not much time on the clock?

catch you soon -

  2. I seem to throw a lot away. We grill a lot, but of course we do. I'm a guy after all. We have the saem things a lot (fajitas, burgers, ham) because I know the little ones will eat it.

    You're not alone!
