. . .tonight I spent time with my main man, my 4 YO son.
I picked him up at school, and we headed for home. Once here, I turned on some television for him (the last fleeting moments of noggin) and got him a snack and myself a cold drink.
Then we hung out. He did some stuff, I did some stuff.
He took a bath, and I listened to him play and pretend (one of my favorite pastimes).
After bath, it was time for dinner. . .and what better than breakfast?? I toasted up some frozen waffles (his choice) and served them with a side of OJ.
Honestly, we had a terrific night, except for missing the third member of our family, Dad had to work late. No one got mad, no one yelled, no one took advantage of the other person, no one forgot their good manners, no one pushed anyone else's buttons. . .
a peaceful, enjoyable evening. . .
catch you soon -
