My 1st CK Convention - Day One

. . .so, yesterday was my 1st day at CKC-PA. . .I couldn't post last night as I was TOO TIRED when I got home at midnight. I had a terrific time and had the opportunity to see a lot of products that I have only heard about or seen online. I find that to be the most difficult challenge in my hobby. . .there is not a terrific LSS with stock of all the latest and greatest, so I need to rely on online shops. The online shops are terrific, but I need to see it in person.

I learned a lot about color - apparently every page I've done to date is WRONG! I've been picking a color of something in my pictures, and then building the LO around that. . .according to the Bazzill experts, that is WRONG WRONG WRONG. Oh well, go figure! But I bought Bazzill's color wheel, and am plannng to turn over a new leaf.

I bought two wonderful books - one by Donna Downy (have you checked out her blog yet?) and one by Lisa Bearnson and Becky Higgins (the Queens of Scrapbooking, as far as I'm concerned). They are both filled with ideas, so I'd better get cracking. . .only 2 hours until I leave for today's classes and crop. Wish me luck -

catch you soon -
